JBL adds to its line of speakers, earbuds, and headsets

While we’ve known for some time that IFA 2021 is a no-go, that didn’t stop JBL from renewing its line of speakers, headphones and earphones when the convention would have taken place. With this flurry of noise-canceling earbuds, party speakers, and headphones, something is sure to catch your eye. The most striking product, however, is likely to be the JBL Flip 6.

JBL Flip 6

JBL Flip series bluetooth speakers are one of the most widely used. The Flip 6 promises to upgrade its previous generation with better sound quality and a more durable, dust and waterproof IP67 construction. The Flip 6 has a dual passive radiator system, along with the woofer and tweeter, which should deliver better audio quality.

Just like the Flip 5, the Flip 6 works with JBL PartyBoost, so you can link two PartyBoost speakers together for stereo playback. PartyBoost also lets you wirelessly connect up to 100 compatible speakers for loud mono playback. JBL added Bluetooth 5.1 firmware and a more impressive 12 hour battery life to this everyday speaker.

The JBL Flip 6 will be available in the US in December and will cost you $ 129.95. JBL will release the Flip 6 in Europe this November for € 139. It is available in five color options: Gray Stone, River Teal, Ocean Blue, Midnight Black or Squad.

JBL Partybox 110 and Partybox 710

Both the JBL Party Box 110 and the Party Box 710 make it possible to take the party with you wherever you go. These speakers have a lot in common such as an IPX4 rating, Bluetooth and USB inputs, and support from the JBL PartyBox app. When music is streamed through the party box, a synchronized light show shines from the embedded RGB lights. You can say “Hey Google” to activate the digital assistant and the headset will use Bluetooth 5.0 to connect to your smartphone. Thanks to JBL Dual Connect + Sync, both earphones can be used independently of each other. JBL Tune 230NC and Tune 130NC

Another difference: the JBL Tune 230NC uses dynamic 5.8 mm drivers – slightly smaller compared to the 10 mm drivers of the Tune 130NC. This may sound strange as many believe bigger drivers are better, but it’s not that simple.

Both the JBL Tune 230NC and JBL Tune 130NC will be available on October 17 for $ 99.95. Both models are available in three colors: black, white and blue.

The true Endurance Race wireless earbuds complement the company’s activity headsets. These earbuds have an IP67 rating that protects them from dust and water damage, a small footprint, and fast charging.
