The JBL Bar 5.0 MultiBeam combines a lot of technology in a compact package that fits perfectly into your entertainment center. This is the first soundbar to adapt both Virtual Dolby Atmos and JBL’s beamforming technology. It’s easy to set up and can be used to play video games, listen to music, and watch movies.
JBL equipped the new device with four passive radiators so that the bass notes should sound loud. The overall space requirement of the hardware is small compared to soundbar and subwoofer combinations. An advanced DSP supports Virtual Dolby Atmos which adds dimension to your media by creating the feeling of overhead and bilateral sound.
This soundbar was designed with simplicity in mind and integrates many popular music providers. The JBL Multibeam also supports wireless streaming services such as Alexa Multi-Room Music Groups, Apple AirPlay 2 and Chromecast. If you don’t want to use any of these Wi-Fi streaming options, you can always resort to Bluetooth streaming instead.
The JBL Bar 5.0 MultiBeam will be available in black this spring and will retail for $ 399.95.
