Jabra Elite 7 series here along with cheap Elite 3 ‘buds
TL; DR
- Jabra just announced the new Jabra Elite 7 Pro and Elite 7 Active.
- Both sets of true wireless earbuds are high-end affairs with corresponding price points.
- The new Elite 3, however, are pretty cheap and only offer the bare essentials.
Jabra earbuds may not have the same name as Apple’s AirPods or even Samsung’s Galaxy Buds. However, they are very popular with audiophiles for their audio quality. They are also popular for their design, which is very different from the AirPods style.

Today Jabra is launching three new sets of true wireless earbuds. First, it has the Jabra Elite 7 Pro and Elite 7 Active. The Pro model is an improvement over last year’s Jabra Elite 75T, but not quite as good as the Elite 85T from earlier this year.
In the meantime, the company is also launching a new, lower-cost model called the Jabra Elite 3. Read the details you need to know below!
Jabra Elite 7 Pro and Elite 7 Active
First up, we have the new premium models from Jabra. The Elite 7 Pro earbuds look very similar to the 75T / 85T designs. They offer Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) with nine hours of uninterrupted play time. You can extend that to up to 35 hours if you charge it in the battery compartment, says Jabra.

The two big highlights of the Elite 7 Pro are Multi-Sensor Voice and its overall size. Multi-Sensor Voice is Jabra’s new proprietary system that combines a bone conduction sensor, four microphones and a new algorithm to make calls clearer. The size of the earbuds is also noteworthy as they are 16% smaller than the Elite 75T, meaning that the Elite 7 Pro are now the brand’s smallest earbuds.
In the meantime, the Elite 7 Active removes the multi-sensor voice but adds a “Shake Grip” coating. Jabra is using Shake Grip as proprietary branding for a new system that promises to keep your headphones in your ears even when you exercise and sweat in a storm.
The Jabra Elite 7 Pro is priced at $ 199, about $ 30 cheaper than the Elite 85T. The Active models start at $ 179. Jabra will be accepting pre-orders for both sets starting October 1, 2021.
Jabra Elite 3
With a minimum price of $ 179, the Jabra Elite 7 series is not for budget-conscious buyers. For the cash-conscious, however, Jabra has something on offer: the new Elite 3.
In four fun colors (purple, light beige, dark gray, and navy), the Elite 3 offers the basics you need from a set of true wireless earbuds. That includes four microphones, seven hours of continuous listening, support for the aptX codec, and noise isolation (read: not ANC).
