Why should you start a blog in 2021?
The past 12 months have shown us how important the human connection is. Especially when people are physically isolated, blogging has brought people together and created space for ideas, conversation and community.
In the new Covid-19 world, amid crises and rapid changes in society, blogging is an established platform that has adapted people in their time of need and helped them provide hope and creative solutions to emerging problems.
I am very proud of the way bloggers have supported their local and online communities. I talked more about this on my podcast episode when the virus hit in March: COVID19 – How to approach blogging through this crisis.
And in the midst of the chaos, upheaval and overwhelming of its predecessors, I am very proud of the people who have stepped up and decided that they too want to help make the world a better place by creating new blogs. Now we need to do more than just encourage and nurture people who are willing to put themselves there and do something positive to meet the needs of their readers – both now and in the future.
