Cook all things quickly and inexpensively.

Before coronavirusI don’t think I realized how much we had dinner and performed. Now many of our favorite restaurants are closed, which means we cook at home more than usual – and try more recipes that involve our pressure cooker.

Don’t have one yet? If you’re looking for a family model, you’ve probably looked at the incredibly popular Instant Pot Duo 6-quart, which is currently on sale for $ 80 (although sometimes as low as $ 50). But here is an even better offer: for a limited time and while stocks last, Elechomes 6 quart pressure cooker costs $ 42.50 with promo code 50 COOKERS.

If you’ve never owned one, you may be surprised by its versatility. (Read this story about why your kitchen needs a pressure cooker.) It not only cooks food under pressure, it also steams, sauté and simmer. Indeed, if you run out of counter space, you can exchange it for your Crock Pot.

Beyond that, it offers 14 impressive presets for things like rice, beans, yogurt, and meat. In addition to the standard pressure cooker cover, it comes with a tempered glass cover, something that isn’t included with most of the other cookers I’ve seen (but something you really want if you cook slowly).

There aren’t a ton of user reviews, and as I often see frustratingly these days, Fakespot and ReviewMeta totally disagree on the legitimacy of these reviews. My advice: read them yourself.

Although pressure cookers can be a little intimidating at first – this steam release valve! – I can certainly understand the popularity. Do yourself a favor and start with Instant spaghetti in a jar with meat sauce, which is actually on the healthy side. We do it with pre-cut spaghetti and it’s absolutely fantastic.
