Huawei Watch 3 with Harmony OS set to launch on June 2
Huawei will officially introduce its Android competitor Harmony OS to us on June 2nd. The company has now confirmed that the Huawei Watch 3 will also be presented with the proprietary software on the same day.
This would be Huawei’s first smartwatch and one of the first devices to wrap up Harmony OS out of the box. The company previously used its own Lite operating system to run devices like the Huawei Watch GT 2 and GT 2 Pro.
There is no official word about what Harmony OS will look like on the Huawei Watch 3 or what main functions it will have. According to a Weibo tipster, the wearable supports more third-party apps than before thanks to the new software.
We also previously saw some leaked UI renders from Harmony OS running on the device. They showed app icons arranged in a circular pattern around the edges of the watch face.

Huawei Watch 3 rumored to be
The Huawei Watch 3 is expected to offer long battery life despite its supposed eSIM support. Smartwatches with standalone connectivity usually draw more power from the battery. That’s because they’re constantly connected to a network for incoming calls, texts, internet access, and more. Perhaps the Huawei Watch 3 will employ a smart battery mode like the Oppo Watch that allows it to go on for days without charging.
Other alleged functions of the Huawei Watch 3 include all-day monitoring of body temperature, screening for heart disease, and AI-based activity modes. There are only a few days left so we don’t have to wait long to find out what’s left in stock.
