  • Honor launched the Honor Band 6 fitness tracker in India.
  • The device has a listed retail price of Rs 3,999 (~ $ 55) on Flipkart.

Honor is another notable player in the fitness tracking space whose Honor Band trackers have been around for a number of years. The company launched the brand new Honor Band 6 in global markets earlier this year, and the tracker has now launched in India as well.

As discovered by foneArena, the Honor Band 6 is available through Flipkart for 3,999 rupees (~ $ 55), although it’s unclear whether this is a limited promotional price as we also see a price tag of 5,999 rupees (~ $ 82) crossed out in the listing.

Nevertheless, you get a fitness bracelet with a 1.47-inch OLED touchscreen, a side button, water resistance of 5 ATM and an alleged battery life of up to 14 days. Honor also assumes that a 10-minute charge time is enough for three days of use.

More portable coverage: The best fitness trackers of 2021

In terms of actual health and fitness functions, you get an SpO2 tracker, heart rate monitor, sleep / stress tracking function, 10 “professional” training modes and automatic detection for six of these modes. Other notable features include customizable watch faces, the usual support for smartphone notifications, and controls for music playback.

Our own Adam Sinicki had mixed opinions about the fitness tracker in his Honor Band 6 test. Adam praised the price, battery life, and screen, but lamented the number of tracking-related bugs, the small number of sport modes, and the lack of GPS. Still, he suggested that if you are looking for a cheap, simple tracker instead of a really fitness-oriented wearable, it is worth it.
