Former Huawei subsidiary Honor has had a tough time over the past two years. Although it supposedly operated largely independently of Huawei, it still fell under that company’s umbrella. That meant the ongoing Huawei ban has leaked onto Honor.
Fortunately, Huawei has sold its ownership of Honor to another company, which allows Honor to get back into the smartphone game – which includes support for Google apps. The first major release under these new circumstances is the Honor 50 series, and now we have some leaked Honor 50 specs to share (via Ishan Agarwal through.) 91 Cell Phones).
The company will officially launch these phones next week on June 16th. So we don’t have to wait long to find out if these specs are real. In the meantime, we know this!
Honor 50 Pro specs
The Honor 50 Pro, the most feature-rich of the three, could have a 6.72-inch FHD + OLED display. Under the hood, there could be a Snapdragon 778G processor that would support 5G connections. This processor could be powered by a 4,000 mAh battery that could be charged at an astonishing 100 W (wired of course).

On the front, the Honor 50 Pro could carry two selfie cameras: a 32 MP primary sensor and a secondary 12 MP shooter. There could be four cameras on the back:
- 108MP ƒ / 1.9 main
- 8MP ƒ / 2.2 ultra wide angle
- 2MP macro
- 2MP depth sensor
Agarwal postulates that the Honor 50 Pro could have dimensions of 163.46 x 74.66 x 8.05 mm and weigh 187 grams.
Honor 50
Interestingly, the leaked Vanilla Honor 50 specs suggest that it could be very, very similar to the Pro. It could even be better in at least one area.
The Honor 50 could come with a 6.57-inch FHD + OLED display, which is slightly smaller than the Pro’s display. Agarwal claims it could have the same Snapdragon 778G processor under the hood as well. However, in the vanilla model, this processor could be powered by a 4,300 mAh battery, which is slightly larger than the cell of the Pro. However, it would “only” support 66W fast charging.
The Honor 50 would only have a selfie camera – a 32MP ƒ / 2.2 camera. However, the rear setup would be the same as the Pro’s setup.
Finally, the Honor 50 could have dimensions of 159.96 x 73.76 x 73.76 mm and weigh 175 grams.
Honor 50 SE
Last but not least, we have the Honor 50 SE, which we are hearing about for the first time today. Since this will be the cheapest of the three, it differs quite a lot from the Honor 50 and 50 Pro specs described above.

First, it could have a 6.78-inch FHD + display, but with an LCD panel instead of OLED. The processor could be a MediaTek Dimensity 900 which wouldn’t be as good as the Snapdragon CPU on the other two models. It could also take over the Honor 50 Pro’s 4,000 mAh battery, but stick with the vanilla model’s 66 W charging speed.
Its lone selfie camera could be a 16 MP sensor, and the rear camera could be vastly different from the other variants. Agarwal says it could offer a triple lens module that includes a 100MP ƒ / 1.9 main lens, an 8MP ultra wide angle ƒ / 2.2 lens, and a 2MP ƒ / 2.4 macro.
Agarwal claims the phone could measure 164.73 x 75.63 x 8 mm and weigh 191 grams.
