Pro-wrestling is finally starting to get out of its Covid-19 slumber and is slowly returning to the four-corner mat. This weekend, World Wrestling Entertainment, better known as WWE, is hosting its biggest event of the year: Wrestlemania 37.
In many ways, this is a turning point for WWE, which had to make myriad changes after the Covid-19 pandemic began in March 2020 to hold PPV events at fixed locations in Florida with no audiences in the squares. That could finally change for Wrestlemania 37, at least a little.
So what is likely to be shown at the biggest PPV event of the year? Everything you need to know about Wrestlemania 37 is here. If you live in the US, you can sign up for the Peacock Premium streaming service below so you can watch the show ahead of time.
What is Wrestlemania 37?
This is the annual multi-match event that is usually the largest on the WWE organization’s calendar. It has the biggest games of the year and generally completes a number of storylines from the WWE TV shows Raw and Smackdown while also starting new storylines.
When is Wrestlemania 37?
The event will take place on two evenings: Saturday April 10th and Sunday April 11th. The show starts at 8 p.m. Eastern Time on both evenings. Unlike last year’s Wrestlemania 36 which was taped before it was shown, this year’s event will be broadcast live.
Where is the event taking place this year?
WWE will host the event at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida. For the first time since the Covid-19 bans began in March 2020, WWE allows fans to purchase tickets to see Wrestlemania 37 in the stands. Approximately 25,000 fans will be in attendance and everyone must adhere to strict Covid-19 rules, including wearing masks and taking temperature tests.
How can I watch Wrestlemania 37?
If you live in the United States, you can watch the event live on NBCUniversal’s Peacock streaming service. WWE recently signed a deal to bring all streaming content for the US audience to Peacock, including all PPV events like Wrestlemania.
