Xiaomi-affiliated Poco brand has been touting the launch of the Poco F3 GT in India for some time, and it is expected to be a rebranded version of the Redmi K40 Gaming Edition that launched in China earlier this year .
Now Poco India Country Director Anuj Sharma has told India today that the upcoming phone will be available for around 30,000 rupees (~ $ 403). This could be a pretty competitive price in India as the OnePlus Nord 2 is rumored to cost 31,999 rupees (~ $ 429).
Sharma also informed the point of sale that Poco was originally targeting a launch in August or September but is now aiming to launch the Poco F3 GT this month.
The Poco F3 GT is, in fact, a renamed Redmi K40 Gaming Edition. That means Indian customers will get a Dimensity 1200 flagship processor as well as retractable shoulder buttons for use in a variety of games.
Poco’s upcoming phone is also expected to have a 5065 mAh battery, a 67W wired charge, a 6.67-inch 120Hz OLED screen and a triple rear-view camera system (64 MP main, 8 MP ultra wide , 2 MP macro).
