HBO Max started out as an all-American video streaming service, but has since made it to Latin America and the Caribbean. Warner Media confirmed earlier this year that several European countries will receive the service in 2021 and has now announced the details.
The company announced that HBO Max will launch in six new European markets starting October 26th, namely Andorra, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Spain and Sweden.
Warner Media added that the service will hit 14 more markets in 2022. You can check the list of these 14 locales below.

- Bulgaria
- Croatia
- Czech Republic
- Hungary
- Moldova
- Montenegro
- North Macedonia
- Poland
- Portugal
- Romania
- Serbia
- Slovakia
- Slovenia
The company also announced that it would have “additional territorial launches” in 2022, although it did not express specific regions in this regard.
There’s no word on a price point for European consumers either, but Warner has confirmed it will hold a virtual event next month to reveal more details (including prices and content).
