Hamilton Disney Plus trailer brings Broadway hit to your home

The hugely popular musical Hamilton is coming to Disney Plus on July 3rd. A new trailer for his digital debut, released on Sunday, takes you to the Richards Rodgers Theater on Broadway.
Lin-Manuel Miranda’s musical tells the story of the founding father of Alexander Hamilton. The film is actually the stage show that was shot in 2016 with the original cast of Broadway at the Richards Rodgers Theater. The show won 11 Tony Awards in 2016 and the Pulitzer Prize in Drama 2016.
In addition to the title Hamilton, Aaron Burr and George Washington are among the characters on the stage.
The film was before planned for a theatrical release in October 2021, but Disney chose to take it straight to the streaming service given the corona virus pandemic.
Disney Plus will be the only way to experience the Broadway show for a while, as live performances in New York City are suspended until September 6th at least.
