Google Stadia offers three days of demos and a Premiere Edition sale
- Google is bolstering Stadia by rolling out three days of free demos, starting with Pac-Man Mega Tunnel Battle.
- Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is slated to arrive on November 24th.
- The Premiere Edition Bundle is also available for $ 80.
Google is working hard to make streaming Stadia games more attractive. In the beginning it is Hold a three-day event (via Android police) where it offers free demos of games coming to Stadia in the coming days and weeks.
In the first demo, Pac-Man Mega Tunnel Battle, up to 64 players hunt pellets and ghosts in huge mazes. The demo will be available until 10pm Eastern on October 27th, while the full game will be available first in Stadia on November 17th. The next demos are for the Humankind Beta (unveiled October 21st) and the Ubisoft action-adventure Immortals Fenyx Rising (October 22nd).
The event is good news for science fiction fans too. After some joking, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is due to enter service on November 24th. This is clearly not one of the free Google Stadia games, but it might be appealing if you wanted to survive the Empire crackdown but didn’t have a console or gaming PC that could handle the title of respawn.

It might be a good time to jump in, even if you’re not into those particular games. Google is making a sale for the Stadia Premiere Edition controller and Chromecast Ultra bundle, which are priced at $ 80 or $ 20 off the usual price. The Stadia Controller itself has also dropped to $ 55. Given the usual pricing, this is an easy choice if you were considering Google’s service but were hesitant to pay full price for the hardware (not always required).
It’s no secret why the company would want to make such a sale. Google’s offering of free Stadia games not only encourages adoption of a relatively modest service, but it can also help attract players who would otherwise be interested in Xbox Game Pass Ultimate or Amazon Luna. Whether or not the strategy pays off, it’s good news if you embrace the concept of game streaming.
