Google Pixel Buds A could be company’s next wireless earbuds
- According to reports, Google is working on a new line of affordable true wireless earbuds.
- The product named Pixel Buds A may inherit the aesthetics of the Pixel Buds and have touch controls.
- There’s no word yet on pricing or availability details.
According to reports, Google is preparing a new pair of true wireless earbuds for release this year, namely the Pixel Buds A.
According to 9to5GoogleThe Buds A may play a similar role in Google’s audio product line as the Pixel A series does for their smartphones. The publication assumes that the Buds A will be the entry-level version of the actual Pixel Buds.
Aesthetically, the Buds A will supposedly mimic the design of the Pixel Bud in all but the color options. While Google offered the Pixel Buds with black accents, it is believed that the Buds A sport an all-white design that resembles Apple AirPods. Alternatively, another forest green option can also be offered.
Buds A may also offer touch controls for both buds to control media or access the Google Assistant. However, there is no word on what features will make the boat keep its price in check.
Pixel Buds A: When could we see them?
When could Google unveil its affordable Pixel Buds line? With the Pixel Buds debuting alongside the Pixel 4 series last year, it’s possible the Buds A will arrive alongside Google’s rumors about the Pixel 5a. If so, don’t be surprised if Buds A don’t show up until later this year.
Of course, Google can also choose to hand out the Buds A a little earlier or alongside its upcoming mysterious wireless streaming product.
