- The price for the Xiaomi Mi 11 just leaked ahead of the global launch date on February 8th.
- So far we only knew the prices in China, where Xiaomi has already launched the new phone.
- These leaked prices are significantly higher than the Chinese prices.
At the end of 2020, Xiaomi launched the latest entry in its flagship Mi line: the Mi 11. We learned a lot about the phone that day, including the cost in Xiaomi’s native China. However, the global launch of the phone has not yet happened.
Connected: Xiaomi Mi 11 announced: this is what we know
Today the alleged Xiaomi Mi 11 price leaked over 91Mobile. Unfortunately the price is much higher than we expected. Please note, however, that the source of this pricing is a name we have never heard of before (Sudhanshu). In other words, take all of this with some skepticism.
Leaked Xiaomi Mi 11 price in Europe
According to the leak, the price of the Xiaomi Mi 11 could start at € 799 (~ $ 956). There could be a premium of € 100 for the high-end model with more storage. This is how it breaks down:
- Mi 11 with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB ROM – € 799 (~ $ 956)
- Mi 11 with 8 GB RAM and 256 GB ROM – € 899 (~ $ 1,076)
If these Xiaomi Mi 11 prices are real, they are pretty interesting. First, they are significantly more expensive than the Chinese variants. These phones start at 3,999 Chinese yuan, which is roughly $ 618. Second, the high-end model has 8 GB of RAM, while the Chinese variant has 12 GB of RAM. If those prices are true, it means buyers in China can get a higher spec phone for a lot less money.
Obviously, it is entirely possible that these leaked prices are wrong. We’ll find out for sure on February 8th!
