Is it a foldable phone or a mini tablet? The Microsoft Surface Duo is an interesting device, but many were put off by the $ 1,400 retail price when it was released in September. Because of this, we’re excited to see it now got a lot cheaper, dropping the price to $ 999.99 ($ 400 off) from multiple retailers. That’s almost 30% less than the starting price and the lowest we’ve ever seen.

The Surface Duo didn’t take the market by storm, although it doesn’t meet specs – it’s powered by the Snapdragon 855 processor and 6GB of RAM. Rather, this is due to the lack of identity and buggy software as Microsoft tries to break new ground. The screen is cool though. It’s not really foldable because of the hinge, but it can be used as an 8.1-inch AMOLED screen or a dual screen to run two apps at the same time. Very useful when you have two urgent tasks at the same time, e.g. B. Netflix and Facebook.
It’s worth noting that despite the name, it’s an Android device that doesn’t run on Windows. It might still not be your cup of tea, but at the price, it’s certainly a different perspective. If you need more storage, the 256 GB variant achieves the same savings. It retails for $ 1,099.99 ($ 400 off).
