Mesh routers are all the rage. They solve the age-old problem of how to route a solid Wi-Fi signal into every corner of a large house or apartment. These multi-unit routers cover much larger areas than conventional routers and work much more effectively than old-fashioned repeaters. Eero started the madness of the entire mesh network back in 2016 and, despite competition from a handful of companies, still offers one of the best mesh Wi-Fi systems you can buy. This triple pack costs at least $ 150 less than a similar three-piece Nest wifi mesh router and covers up to 5,000 square feet, which should be enough for just about every home. Additional satellite units are available – the entire system is modular – for $ 99 each. It’s not even nearly the lowest price we’ve seen for this bundle. During the holidays, it actually dropped to around $ 160. But that’s still a great price and includes a giveaway.
