Get a free Google Stadia controller and Chromecast with Cyberpunk 2077

  • US-based buyers who pre-order Cyberpunk 2077 will receive a free Google Stadia controller and Chromecast Ultra.
  • You have until December 18, 2020 to take advantage of this offer (or while supplies last).
  • The big caveat is that you probably won’t see your package when the game starts.

Although the game has been delayed several times, Cyberpunk 2077 is still one of the most anticipated games of the year. When it finally releases in December (unless it’s delayed again), you’ll be able to play it on PlayStation and Xbox consoles, as well as PCs.

Oh yes, and it will be available in stadiums too. Google really doesn’t want you to forget this, so they have a pretty cute deal: pre-order Cyberpunk 2077 and get a free Google Stadia controller paired with a free Chromecast Ultra. That’s all you need to get started with Stadia’s cloud gaming service.

How to get your free Google Stadia package

  • You must be over 18 years old and resident in the United States.
  • Click here to go to Stadp’s landing page for Cyberpunk 2077.
  • Make sure you are signed in to Stadia and signed in to your account. You don’t need a paid subscription, just an account.
  • Click the “Pre-order at stadiums” button.
  • Sometime between now and the week after Cyberpunk 2077 launches, you will receive an email redemption code. With this code you can “buy” a Stadia controller and Chromecast from the Google Store. Don’t worry, the code will ensure that your shopping cart has zero credit – even shipping is free.

The big limitation with this Google Stadia free bundle is that you can’t tell how long to wait to receive your bundle. Remember that mid-December is the busiest time for broadcasts during the year. Hence, after the game is released, you could wait a few weeks (or more) before actually playing it. Of course, you can play it with a Stadia-approved controller and a Stadia-approved device that you already own. Check compatibility here.

Regardless, a free Google Stadia controller and free Chromecast cost $ 100. This is cute no matter how you look at it!
