Galaxy Z Fold 3 or Galaxy Z Flip 3? The winner surprised us.

We had a little over a week to really look at the pros and cons of Samsung’s new foldable devices. The Galaxy Z Fold 3 is the company’s new flagship at the end of the year and brings a lot of improvements for the larger folding format. The Galaxy Z Flip 3 is now even cheaper, smaller and more attractive than a foldable gateway.
So what would you buy? That is a question we asked our readers in a recent poll and the votes are over.

We saw a little over 1,100 votes on this poll, but the results are pretty surprising.
This may not come as a surprise to some. The Galaxy Z Flip 3 combines all the advantages of a conventional phone in one device that can be folded in half. For those who crave more compact smartphones, this is probably the closest thing to this ideal. It is also steadily improving over its predecessor, bringing water resistance, a harder shell and a larger outer shade. However, you lose some of the exclusive benefits of the Galaxy Z Fold 3, such as S Pen support, a larger flip display, and more cameras.
As for the comments, well, they were a mixed bag. Although survey results suggest the Galaxy Z Flip 3 is the overwhelming favorite, comments suggest it’s more complicated. Several readers would have voted “neither” if they had the option. The Galaxy Z Fold 3 also gets more support here than the Z Flip 3. Read some more hot takes from our readers below.
