A Samsung operations manager urged users to “wait a bit” after the company encountered issues with the Android 11 version on the Galaxy Note 10 in a limited South Korean test. It hasn’t been outlined what these issues were, but members of the Samsung community have complained of severe battery drains and app crashes.

The company did not announce when it would deploy the Android 11 beta for the Galaxy S10 and other affected models. We asked Samsung for a comment. While the fixed version could arrive quickly, a significant delay could affect the availability of the finished version on affected phones.
A 3.0 UI offers a number of small but tangible improvements, including the lock screen, web browser, and camera performance. Some features come straight from Android 11, e.g. E.g. a section for conversations if you expand the notification shadow.
Not every phone that is expected to receive the new software will necessarily see the beta. AC Samsung hasn’t mentioned a One UI 3.0 Beta for the Galaxy S20 FE, and chances are you won’t see any. Still, it’s not entirely comforting that people with flagship phones (or 2020 leaflets) from 2019 get their first taste of Android 11 later than many of their peers.
