Former sub-brand Realme launches Dizo sub-brand

Realme Dizo brand

Realme itself started out as a sub-brand of Oppo, and although it is largely an independent company these days, it still has a lot to do with Oppo. However, it looks like the previous sub-brand is pursuing a similar strategy by launching its own sub-brand called Dizo.

The new Dizo brand will focus on smart home devices, smart entertainment and accessories, according to its official website. The website adds that this is the first brand in the Realme TechLife ecosystem. This ecosystem includes everything from smart TVs and security cameras to wireless earbuds and electric toothbrushes. In other words, it sounds like phones are banned for now.

The website also shows that Dizo will be relying on Realme for industrial design, supply chain and AIoT expertise. Dizo has also confirmed that there are over 320 service centers in 310 Indian cities that allegedly use Realme’s resources here as well.

There is no official word on Dizo’s first products, but at least there is two Tipper pointed out bluetooth headphones (both neckband and true wireless style). We hope these are more than just renamed versions of existing Realme products as there is more than enough rebranding drills in the consumer tech industry.

In any event, a press release confirmed that the brand would be available “soon” in Africa, Asia, Europe, North America, South America and other countries.
