However, fitness trackers have never been a stylish accessory. Sure, a good outfit doesn’t make your outfit look worse, but you probably won’t see fitness trackers hitting the catwalks this season.

This is where the new Fitbit Luxe comes in. This latest product from Fitbit increases the style factor and turns the device into both a fashion accessory and a fitness tracker. Fitbit is even working with jewelry brand Gorjana to offer a special edition that looks more like a luxury bracelet than a tech product.
However, this is primarily a tracker. It has all of the tracking features you’d expect from a Fitbit, as well as Fitbit’s stress management tools that make them appear on a tracker for the first time.
Fitbit Luxe: A piece of fashion technology made of stainless steel
The Fitbit Luxe comes with a stainless steel case. According to Fitbit, it approached the device’s design with the same approach that jewelers do for a bracelet. These processes were then combined with our own precision-oriented methods to ensure that the sensors in the tracker worked as expected.
The case is available in polished steel, polished bronze or matt black. There are band options in silicone, leather, fabric, and stainless steel.

The Fitbit Luxe is also swim-proof with a water resistance of up to 50 m. It also has 24/7 heart rate tracking, sleep tracking and tracking for 20 different exercises. There will eventually be SpO2 tracking, although this won’t be available at launch and will only land in select markets.
People who pre-order a Luxe get six months of free access to Fitbit Premium. After the six month period, the usual charges of $ 8.99 / month will begin.
Price, availability and release date
Here in the US, the Fitbit Luxe costs $ 150. Pre-orders are now possible at Fitbit.com. The publication will take place in spring. There are accessories available for pre-order as well, and the Fitbit Luxe Special Edition with a Gorjana-designed band costs $ 200 with a release date in June.
