Poco X3 GT official 2 editing

TL; DR

  • Poco has launched the Poco X3 GT in several markets.
  • The phone is essentially a renamed Chinese Redmi Note 10 Pro.
  • Expect a starting price of $ 299.

Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 10 Pro worldwide earlier this year, but the Chinese version is actually a completely different device. Now the Chinese variant has arrived in broader markets, albeit with a name change.

The device is known as the Poco X3 GT and it also swaps the standard MIUI skin for the MIUI for Poco skin. Otherwise, this is the same device as the Chinese Redmi Note 10 Pro.

Poco’s phone is equipped with a Dimensity 1100 5G chipset (4x Cortex-A78, 4x Cortex-A55, Mali-G77 MP9 GPU), 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB to 256 GB of expandable storage. You also get a 5,000 mAh battery with 67 W wired charging via an included charger. The 67W speed means that according to the brand, you can expect a full charge in 42 minutes.

The Poco device is also equipped with a 6.6-inch 120 Hz FHD + LCD screen with Gorilla Glass Victus, a triple rear-view camera system (64MP main camera, 8MP ultra-wide angle, 2MP macro) and a 16MP selfie snapper.

Other notable specs include Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 6, 5G + 5G dual SIM, an IR blaster, NFC, two speakers, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

The Poco X3 GT will be available in Africa, Latin America, Southeast Asia and the Middle East. Prices start at $ 299 for the 8GB / 128GB model via “official e-commerce channels,” while the 8GB / 256GB version costs $ 329.

In any case, the combination of a relatively powerful chipset, 5G, a 120Hz screen with Gorilla Glass Victus, and a 67W charge seems pretty good for the price. Anyone thinking about a solid mid-range phone might want to put this on their list of devices to keep in mind.
