Realme SLED 4K TV

  • Realme launched a lot of products in India today.
  • This includes a SLED 4K TV, a soundbar and the Realme 7i.
  • Other announcements include a vegan leather Realme 7 Pro and new audio products.

Realme drew inspiration from Huawei, Samsung and Xiaomi for its entire product strategy and quickly expanded its presence in the smart home and IoT sector. Now the company in India has announced a lot of gadgets in this regard.

The most expensive device on the list is the 55-inch Realme Smart TV SLED 4K, which is available as a special offer for Rs 42,999 (~ $ 587) or Rs 39,999 (~ $ 546). This is being marketed as the world’s first SLED 4K smart TV, with SLED being touted by Realme as an alternative to QLED technology.

The brand previously claimed that SLED Tech uses a white backlight made up of RGB colors, as opposed to traditional LED and QLED TVs with a blue backlight that turns white. According to Realme, this allows for a wider color gamut (108% NTSC) and better eye protection than QLED and LED panels, but we have to put that claim to the test.

The Realme Smart TV SLED 4K also offers a MediaTek quad-core processor, Chroma Boost, 24 W quad stereo speakers, Android TV based on Android Pie and Chromecast support.

Do you need even better audio quality for your living room? Then the company also unveiled the Realme 100W soundbar for Rs 6,999 (~ $ 95), which includes two speakers, two tweeters, and a subwoofer.

Wireless audio and mobile

Realme also had a new smartphone that could be brought to India with the Realme 7i. The phone was launched in several other Asian countries last month and features a Snapdragon 662 chipset, 4 GB of RAM, a 5,000 mAh battery with 18 W charging and a 6.5-inch 90 Hz LCD screen.

The BBK brand also launched a new Realme 7 Pro variant, the Sun Kissed Leather Edition. It’ll be available for the same price as the Realme 7 Pro itself (starting at Rs 19,999 or $ 273) when it hits stores on October 16, but has a vegan leather back.

Next up on the list are two more wireless audio entries in the Realme Buds Air Pro and Buds Wireless Pro neckband earbuds real bluetooth wireless earbuds.

The case of the Realme TWS buds is similar to that of the Vivo TWS Neo buds, but the buds themselves appear to be different from each other. Otherwise, you can expect a total playback of 25 hours with the case, active noise cancellation and a latency of 94 ms.

Meanwhile, the Buds Wireless Pro offers active noise cancellation, support for the LDAC codec, IPX4 splash protection, and 22 hours of playback (on a five minute charge, 1.7 hours of playback).
