Over the weekend Donald Trump re-posted a deep false meme Video on Twitter, originally created by Twitter account “Mad” ObamaGate “Liberals”.

The deepfake video takes a famous monologue from the film Independence Day and replaces Bill Pullman – the actor who plays the fictional US President Thomas J. Whitmore – with Donald Trump. On Independence Day, Pullman’s character delivers the inspiring speech just before a final battle against invading aliens from space.

Basically we have Bill Pullman’s voice overlaying the speech on Donald Trump’s face.

The people in the crowd are also being replaced by some familiar faces like Sean Hannity and Ivanka Trump. Even Ted Cruz appears. It’s … bizarre. But that’s the internet in 2020.

Pullman did not directly criticize the president, but did not agree.

“My vote doesn’t belong to anyone but me, and I’m not running for president – this year,” he said in response. sent to The Hollywood Reporter in a statement.

Other Independence Day members were a bit clearer.

Vivaca Fox called it “TYPICAL POS BEHAVIOR” in a capital letter.

The Mad Liberals YouTube account made a lot of deepfake videos with Trump. Trump is occupied as Superman, Robert Mueller as General Zod.

Bill Pullman representatives did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
