Upgrading to a new smartphone can be one of the most pleasant experiences, especially if you haven’t updated your device in a few years. Between the improved performance, better cameras, and new features, there’s a lot to like about a shiny new phone.
One of the challenges with upgrading is how to seamlessly pick up where you left off. However, most manufacturers let you copy all of your data from an old phone to a new device. I tend to start over with new phones, whether it’s personal upgrades or devices used for testing / verification purposes. It helps that Google is backing up a lot of data in your account anyway, such as: B. contacts, emails, photos and more. I also have a number of favorite apps that I download from the Play Store every time I set up a new phone. Some apps like WhatsApp also have cloud backups.
I can definitely see why people want to copy all of their data from their old phones. It means you don’t have to spend a lot of time setting things up the way you want so you can actually use your shiny new phone.
