Voice assistants have become an important part of many people’s lives. They allow you to get quick answers to questions, give you seamless control of your smart home devices, and much more.

These assistants also have their own personality, which helps make interactions feel more natural. This has led us to wonder if readers say “please” and “thank you” to their assistants. Let us know by taking our survey below.

Google and Amazon encouraged this behavior a few years ago with Pretty Please and Magic Word functions. This is designed to teach children manners by saying “please” and “thank you” to the assistant. Also, some of you may feel a little strange making a request or giving an order without worrying about your manners.

Even so, these virtual assistants aren’t human, so it’s not that they’ll feel offended if you don’t ask or thank them. Even so, feel free to comment below if you have more on this poll in mind.
