After Disney Plus added a number of films slated to theatrical releases to its new streaming service, it will add Black Widow and Cruella to its list later this year. Disney announced today that Cruella will be in theaters and on Disney Plus simultaneously on May 28th. This is followed by the long-awaited Black Widow, the first feature film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in over a year, on July 9th again in both cinemas and Disney Plus.

Cruella
In this film, Emma Stone will star as Cruella de Vil, the legendary, over-the-top villain from Disney’s 101 Dalmatians franchise. The film itself is set in the 1970s and will tell Cruella’s genesis as she tries to enter London’s vast fashion and design community with her own sense of drama.
Cruella will be released in both theaters and on Disney Plus through its Premier Access model. You’ll need to pay $ 29.99 on top of the normal Disney Plus monthly fee to unlock the movie. Once unlocked, it can be streamed as long as you are a subscriber to the service. The film can be streamed later in 2021 at no additional charge.
Black widow
This MCU movie was originally scheduled to be released in May 2020. However, the coronavirus outbreak resulted in cinemas closing and Disney delayed the release of the superhero spy film several times since then. Now Disney will finally release the film in both theaters and Disney Plus on July 9th. It stars Scarlett Johansson, who again plays spy and avenger Natasha Romanoff, in a story set before the events of Avengers: Endgame. Black Widow will also follow the Premiere Access business model for Disney Plus.

Both are secretly marine animals that wrap themselves in human bodies, as the people of the city distrust who they believe are sea monsters.
This film will be released on Disney Plus on June 18th and is free of charge for subscribers. It will also be released in theaters where the streaming service is not available.
