Disney is reportedly planning a live-action Hercules movie

Disney has a Hercules live action movie in progress, according to a report. The Russo Brothers who made Marvel films like Captain America: Civil war and Avengers Endgame, Hercules will head, Hollywood reporter said Thursday.

The Hercules script is said to have been written by Dave Callaham, who wrote the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) film Shang-Chi and the legend of the ten rings. Disney did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

The animated Hercules film came to the screen in 1997, followed by an animated series in 1998. You can see both on Disney Plus.

Hercules would be the next in a long line of live action remakes Disney has released in recent years, after Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, The Lion King, Cinderella, Lady and the tramp and Mulan. To be published The little mermaid and Cruella.
