Disney delays Mulan to August
Mulan has been delayed until August.
Disney has delayed the release of again Mulan, with the live-action film that will be released on August 21. Mulan was supposed to come out in March, but it was postponed to July 24th due to the spread of COVID-19. The theaters are reopening in July in the U.S., including AMC, Cinemark, and Regal, but Disney said on Friday that it had decided to postpone Mulan until next month.
“While the pandemic has changed our Mulan release plans and we will continue to be flexible as conditions dictate, it has not changed our belief in the power of this film and its message of hope and persistence,” said Alan Horn, co-chair and Chief Creative Officer and Alan Bergman, co-chair of Walt Disney Studios.
