HP is adding a few new devices to its Chrome OS lineup today, as well as a monitor certified to work with Chromebook. The product range includes a new detachable Chromebook and an all-in-one desktop.

The highlight of this launch is the new HP Chromebook x2 11, a slightly smaller version of the HP Chromebook x2 – the company’s first flagship with a Chrome OS tablet. HP combines this sequel with the HP Chromebase 21.5 inch, the world’s first Chromebase system with a rotating display.

HP Chromebook x2 11 specifications, price, and availability

The HP Chromebook x2 11 comes with a promising looking 11-inch display with an aspect ratio of 3: 2 and a 2K resolution. This time, HP relies on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7c compute platform (first generation, not the recently released second generation). This comes with a battery life promise of up to 11 hours. It’s the world’s first detachable Chromebook with optional 4G LTE.

You also get a CNC aluminum unibody design combined with the magnetic keyboard and stand with 170 degree positioning and a large touchpad. The HP Wireless Rechargeable USI Certified Pen is included with some of the x2 11 SKUs and is designed to take full advantage of Google Cursive – a new note-taking app for capturing, editing and organizing handwritten notes.

The Chromebook x2 11 has a 5 MP front camera and an 8 MP rear camera, as well as audio from Bang & Olufsen. HP appears to be looking for iPad and Surface tablets with this device. It will be available starting October at Best Buy with prices starting at $ 599.99.

The focus is on the base of this AIO, which houses two 5 W speakers, a 5 MP camera and connections, which are also coordinated by Bang & Olufsen. HP has wrapped fabric around the base to make it kid-friendly and easy to clean. A Works With Chromebook certified Bluetooth wireless mouse and keyboard are included.
