Chinese operatives reportedly stoked coronavirus lockdown panic in US

Chinese activists are reported to have spread fake texts and social media posts about a national ban in the US in terms of Corona virusThe New York Times reported on Wednesday.
News warning of a freeze has been intensified to cause panic and political friction in the US, according to the Times, quoting six anonymous American officials from six different agencies. Where this news comes from is unclear.
“These efforts have enabled the embassies to attract the attention of enough people who can then spread themselves without the need for foreign agents to continue working,” the report said.
The officials interviewed also said that these employees had taken some of the measures used Trolls supported by Russiahow to create fake social media accounts to spread the message to likeable Americans.
