CAD renders reveal the Samsung Galaxy S30 Plus’ rumored design
- New CAD-based renders of the Samsung Galaxy S30 Plus have been leaked.
- The renderings include the redesigned camera array as seen on the alleged standard S30 and S30 Ultra.
- Leaked dimensions also suggest that the S30 Plus will be wider than the Galaxy S20 Plus.
Alleged CAD-based renders of a third Galaxy S30 device damaged the cover. This time around, the S30 Plus is presented in more detail, linking the S30 and S30 Ultra leaks that aired earlier this week.
Per MySmartPriceThe new CAD renderers aren’t noticeable, but they do suggest that all three S30 phones may have the redesigned camera array. With three cameras like the Galaxy Note 20 line, the array blends in more seamlessly with the phone’s flank. It’s a notable departure from the Galaxy A-like hump used in the S20 line.
For those hoping this redesign will solve the camera hump problem, the renderers suggest that it is unlikely. There is still a sizable plateau on the back of the device.
First of all, a punch-hole selfie camera is the only big design hangover from the S20 series that we discover. There is also a volume rocker and power button on the right side of the phone. The obligatory USB-C port is centrally located next to a single speaker grille on the bottom of the phone.
MySmartPrice also sheds light on the rumored dimensions of the phone. The S30 Plus can measure 161.5 x 75.6 x 7.85 mm, making it shorter but a little wider than the S20 Plus. There’s also rumored to be a 6.7-inch slim display, a welcome departure from the curved aesthetics of Samsung’s recent flagships.
With the Galaxy S30 line potentially launching a little earlier than usual, the leaks should be thick and quick in the months ahead.
