September 12, 2024: build3, the premier ecosystem for nurturing impact-driven startups, has officially announced the launch of the 3rd Cohort of its flagship Impact Accelerator program. This initiative, designed to empower early-stage startups that are both profit-driven and purpose-oriented, is now open for applications. The 10-week virtual accelerator program is set to kick off in the first week of November 2024, with selected startups receiving financial support of INR 25 Lakhs, alongside opportunities for additional funding during build3’s demo day events.
Empowering Startups with Purpose
build3’s Impact Accelerator is recognized for its commitment to fostering startups that align with the UN-defined Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and emphasize Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles. Following the success of its previous cohorts, which supported startups across various sectors, Cohort 3 aims to replicate and exceed the achievements of its predecessors. The second cohort, which concluded recently, saw participation from 27 startup founders and led to the creation of 19 innovative startups, three of which—OnHire, Bolofy, and ReNewCred—secured INR 25 Lakhs each in pre-seed investments.
What Cohort 3 Brings to the Table
The upcoming cohort will offer a comprehensive 10-week program designed to upskill and empower founders through a series of workshops, keynotes, and mentoring sessions. Topics covered will include market research, go-to-market strategies, product development, storytelling, organizational behavior, fundraising, accounting, and compliance. In addition to financial assistance, participants will gain access to an extensive network of mentors, successful founders, and industry experts, as well as free credits for essential SaaS tools from providers like AWS, GCP, and Zoho.

Participants in Cohort 3 will not only benefit from the structured curriculum but will also be integrated into build3’s vibrant community of over 300 creators, mentors, and investors. This community played a pivotal role in the success of the previous cohort, offering valuable feedback, mentorship, and networking opportunities during interactive sessions and pitch evaluations.
