No television I have ever tested offers so much picture quality for this little money. Thanks to improved color technology, the latest version of the TCL 6 series offers an even better image quality than its predecessor. Thanks to the well implemented full array local dimming, it can circle almost any other TV at this price. As if that weren’t enough, the Roku Smart TV operating system, which really supports all the top streaming services, is our absolute favorite for a seamless viewing experience.

Roku is our favorite platform for streaming apps and apps like Netflix. It is even better if it is integrated into the television. This TCL 4 series cannot outperform the above model in terms of image quality – the 4K resolution and HDR (High Dynamic Range) compatibility don’t help improve the image or color – but it does a good job for most Visual experience people, especially at this price.

The Vizio V-Series offers two features that make it natural when you want to stream from your phone to the TV: Google Chromecast and Apple AirPlay. There are actually a range of sizes under $ 500, but we’re listing one of the smallest, the 43-inch model, because it’s one of the few small TVs with our favorite image-enhancing extra for LCDs: local dimming with full array. However, this function is not available in all sizes. See the review for details.

This Toshiba has the integrated Fire TV system from Amazon and is therefore a direct competitor of the Roku system of the TCL. In general, we like Roku better than Fire TV thanks to superior menus and search features, but this Toshiba has a cool extra that the TCL lacks: the built-in Alexa, which is available via the remote control.

Smart TV is king in small sizes. At that price, buying a separate streamer is a significant investment for Roku – and juggling with the streamer’s remote is tedious. So if you need a TV of this size to meet your needs, this is our pick for the best 32 inch TVs.
