Tablets have found new life in people’s homes, as coronavirus blocking has increased the need for devices that can also be used for entertainment, education, and even some work. And in recent weeks, the tablet available on the market – Apple’s iPad – has also been given a whole new life. In addition to the delivery of a new Apple iPad Pro modelApple has also updated the iPad’s operating system to make this possible Trackpad support. And even though we haven’t put our laptops out of circulation yet, the new features for the future of the iPad as a productivity device are more promising than anything that’s been added for years.
Elsewhere in the tablet country was Microsoft Rumor has it that new Surface models will be launched this spring – but it is unclear whether this will still happen in a post-coronavirus environment. Samsung is still crank out Android models. And Amazon remains the best option for cheap, kid-friendly tablet models.

Apple’s small entry-level iPad upgrade only slightly increases screen size, offers long battery life, and supports smart keyboards with connectors, making it the best Apple tablet for most. Aside from older processors, this is a perfect iPad. Just don’t pay more than $ 250 for the 32GB version – that’s the price it often offers for sale.

The latest version of the Apple iPad Pro has been updated for 2020 and features a fancy camera array and even a lidar sensor for state-of-the-art AR functions. However, the biggest upgrade is through the software, which now supports laptop-style trackpads. To use that, of course, you need something like Apple’s Magic Keyboard Case for iPad Pro, an expensive add-on that won’t ship until March. Nevertheless, we love this top-class iPad, which is otherwise a performance monster, with Face ID, USB Type C, excellent battery life, a killer retina screen and the best processor and design in Apple’s product line. It can also be considered one of the best drawing tablets, especially in connection with the newer Apple Pencil from 2018. (However, if you already have the previous iPad Pro model, there is no big reason to upgrade to this 2020 model. ) Note that the iPad Pro is available in 11 inch and 12.9 inch models.

Apple updated the Mini last spring with Apple Pencil support and an A12 processor that outperforms the larger 10.2-inch base iPad. Confusing, isn’t it? Just know that the iPad Mini is a great tablet that is super portable with a 7.9-inch display and can be filled with apps that make it more of a gaming tablet or drawing tablet, but its smaller surface may not be suitable for people who want to use it as a laptop replacement.

Tablet lows at Amazon are always shocking, and this year’s Fire 7 is a solid, affordable tablet choice for basic video / game / kids apps. It has a relatively small screen size, but as always, you can get a lot more content out of Amazon Prime, although Amazon’s fire ecosystem is more limited than Android. But if you buy for a child, you definitely invest in the Kids Edition. In addition to parental controls, this version of the device offers a rubberized case, a free year of child-friendly FreeTime Unlimited content, and a two-year replacement warranty for damaged devices, with no questions asked. Stop living in fear of a broken screen! It also has an important headphone jack so you don’t have to worry when your wireless earbuds are charged.

The Amazon 10-inch Fire tablet is faster and better than the 7- and 8-inch Fire tablets and still only costs $ 150 (or less). There are two storage options: 32 GB and 64 GB. The battery life is now also charged via USB Type C.

It will be almost impossible to find Android tablet options from brand manufacturers, but the Samsung Galaxy tablets are among the best tablets on the market. The Tab S6 Android tablet is expensive, but compact, has an optional keyboard with trackpad, and can be connected to monitors using Samsung’s DeX technology. However, you do not need a monitor because the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 has a Super AMOLED display. The device has 6 GB RAM and is charged via a USB Type-C port. This is the one you should consider if you want Android. However, the newer Galaxy Tab A is also worth considering if you want a lower price.

For the right price, the Chromebook X2 could be one of the best tablets in the lineup in terms of deals. It is a functional Chromebook laptop that is also a detachable tablet and can also play Android apps. It comes with 4 GB of RAM.
