If you haven’t got your hands on that yet Samsung Galaxy S20You could still hold on to it last year S10which is still a great high-end phone at a reasonable price. Whether you bought the small one (S10E), Medium (S10) or large (S10 Plus) from the Galaxy S10 series there are many cases for your device.

Here are some of our favorites for the best Galaxy S10 case in every style, from sturdy armor cases and cases to leather cases to polycarbonate cases and even see-through cases. Some of the recommendations for these Galaxy S series cases are based on our experience with previous S9 versions. I regularly add more when new candidates appear.

Which Galaxy S10 should you buy?

Robust but relatively slim

The Presidio Pro made of polycarbonate is available in several color options and has a non-slip coating that is pleasant to the touch and has a good grip. Bacon calls it a “non-slip grip”. The slim polycarbonate case has two sturdy armor layers that protect your Android phone from scratches and more, while allowing wireless charging.

Like the bulky Presidio Sport line from Speck, it also features antimicrobial Microban technology, which is said to “inhibit the growth bacteria that cause stains and odors”.

It’s a little pricey at $ 40, but it’s one of the best options for the Galaxy S10.

The OtterBox Symmetry series is the company’s most elegant phone case. It is quite slim, durable and protects your device and your camera (similar to the bacon cases that certainly influenced the OtterBox design). This phone case is available in black, a clear case version and a variety of other colors. This sturdy case with fall protection and raised screen bumper starts at $ 40.

I like some of Gear4’s cases, including the translucent Piccadilly, which is available in several different scratch-resistant design options, and the Gear4 Battersea. The Gear4 Piccadilly S10 case is compatible with the wireless charger and has raised edges for additional protection. All Gear4 housings are lined with the company’s special shock-absorbing D3O material to protect against falls. The Piccadilly starts at $ 30.

Catalyst was once known for its waterproof cases and still sells them. It’s about making sleek “shockproof cases” that protect your smartphone’s screen and camera with a clear back, raised bezels, and a removable lanyard. I just wish the lanyard could be tightened on your wrist. This shock cover is available in clear (illustration) or black for $ 40.

The popular Presidio Grip covers from Speck are available in different colors for the different versions of the S10, including the more striking ones Glitter model. With slim rubber ribs, this slim case is also durable. These ultra-slim sleeves start at $ 35.

We are longtime fans of cases Tech21. The company has the usual selection of cases for your Galaxy S10 device, including the old, sturdy – and my personal favorite – Evo Check (shown here). It has a 12 foot fall protection and antimicrobial technology and is available in the color “Smokey” shown here and in the more violet color Ultra Violet.

Scooch bills his wingman as a five-in-one case. That’s because the bendable slap bracelet style stand not only supports your phone horizontally and vertically upwards, but also allows you to grip your phone more easily, “avoid minor fatigue,” and act as a ventilation bracket in your car . After all, the case is also a case – and a pretty protective one.

It is available in two color options and has a list price of $ 40.

Wallet and folio sleeves

This is the most popular Samsung case by CNET video guru David Katzmaier. The LED Wallet Case is a sleek wallet case (you can store a single credit card in it, but not much more) that contains a series of LEDs that light up to indicate the time, as well as retro-dot matrix-style notifications. You can also turn off alarms and answer calls by swiping the screen protector. With the special icons that you assign to your contacts, you know who is calling.

It costs $ 60, but is available online for less than $ 50. The price should go down over time.

One of my favorite folio cases – the OtterBox Strada – is back for the Galaxy S10 (I used one for a Galaxy S9 Plus for a while). It’s a very protective case and has a slot on the inside of the cover where you can keep a single credit card and possibly a driver’s license or some money. Of course, it also provides access to the buttons. It is available in brown genuine leather or black genuine leather and has a high list price of $ 70, but can be purchased online for less than $ 50. The only downside is that it doesn’t fold back into a video viewing stand on your phone.

The Oxford is Gear4’s folio case, which can be turned into a stand and has a slot for a credit card and cash. The company’s D30 material also protects your phone and is compatible with wireless charging.

If you’re looking for a cheap wallet case, Silk sells the Wallet Slayer for $ 15. There is nothing special about it, but it fits three credit cards and some cash. Thanks to a slot on the back of the case, you can also easily use your phone to watch videos on your screen.

Hard cases

The Defense Shield series from X-Doria is available in different versions. For a robust case that the company says is “certified to exceed MIL-STD-810G military drop test standards for falls up to 3 m (10 ft)”, it is not too bulky. I personally like the dazzling model (right on the photo).

Over the years, I’ve regularly included the OtterBox Defense Series cases in best-case summaries, but it has become a little too bulky for my hard-hitting taste. The Pursuit series from OtterBox feels and looks like a slimmer version of the Defender series, with seals, connector covers and simple cutouts for buttons (you want to get to these buttons, of course). It is available in three colors and the only downside is that it is expensive at $ 70. Make sure that this price drops in due course.

Urban Armor Gear manufactures several different ultra hybrid case lines, all of which are decent. I like the translucent phylo (left picture), but if you’re looking for something harder to provide robust protection for your phone and camera, there’s the Monarch series (right picture for $ 60). Available in multiple colors and textures (including top grain leather and aluminum metal fittings), it has reinforced corners and the company states that it meets 2x military drop test standards (MIL STD 810G 516.6) and comes with a 10-year limited warranty .

LifeProof, now owned by OtterBox, is known for its robust housing. The Next has a fairly slim design for a robust housing and is available in two different configurations with a translucent back. The only downside: with $ 80, this Samsung Galaxy S10 case is not a bargain.
