During the past three years the best air fryer deals attracted millions of shoppers and Black Friday air fryer deals are a guaranteed top-selling product category.
Best Black Friday air fryer deals we saw last year
Many of the best Black Friday air fryer deals last year were from leading brand names. For example, the Ninja AF101 4-quart Air Fryer, which listed for $120 but was often on sale for $100, dropped to $80 during Black Friday 2020, the lowest price we saw all year.
Cosori’s 5.8-quart Air Fryer Max XL Digital Hot Oven Cooker sold for $120 during most of 2020, but it was just $84 on Amazon during Black Friday, like the Ninja AF101, the Cosori Air Fryer Max XL’s lowest price of the year.
Another example of an annual low price during Black Friday 2020 was the GoWise 5.8-quart 8-in-1 Digital Air Fryer. For most of 2020 the GoWise sold at
or close to $80, with a few price breaks to $70. During Black Friday, however, the GoWise Air Fryer was on sale for just $50.
Cuisinart Air Fryer, Convection Toaster Oven, which lists for $199, dropped to $160 several times during 2020 but for Black Friday, you guessed it, the Cuisinart model hit its lowest price of the year, just $135, during Black Friday.
And one final example in 2020, the premium Breville BOV860BSS Smart Oven Air Fryer Countertop Convection Oven soft for $350 for most of 2020 but the price was just $280 during Black Friday. That same model listed as high a $879 in early 2021 when inventories were hard to keep in stock.
So we absolutely saw many impressively low Black Friday air fryer deals in 2020. The supply chain and shipping issues that began in 2020 are still facto in many industries, especially in home appliances, which leads us to a certainty that this year’s air fryer Black Friday deals will hit new low prices for 2021, although a return to 2020 lows may not be in store.
What Black Friday air fryer deals we expect to see this year
We have an early look at some of this year’s Black Friday air fryer deals thanks to Amazon’s early October launch of its so-called Black Friday-Worthy Epic Deals. Amazon promised to roll out new Epic Daily Deals every day during October and November, right up to and through Black Friday and Cyber Monday. We are not assuming, nor did Amazon promise, that the Epic Daily Deals prices will be the lowest of all during Amazon’s Black Friday lead up and the actual sale. The price cuts should be good enough, however, that if you have use for the product sooner, you can buy now and starting enjoying it immediately. By buying early you may avoid product shortages and potential delayed delivery dates.
So, one of the early Amazon early Epic Daily Deals is the Cosori Air Fryer XL. As we mentioned in the previous section the Cosori’s list price is $120. For the Amazon Epic Daily Deal sale, Amazon took 10% off with a sales price of $108. That’s a savings but we’re going to shout it out since it dropped as low as $84 during Black Friday 2020. Maybe prices will stick to higher levels this year because of the supply chain issues, but we still wouldn’t jump for a minimal 10% discount.
Three GoWise USA Air Fryers are in Amazon’s Epic Daily Deals at slightly better prices. The GoWise USA 5.8-quart 8-in-1 Digital Air Fryer is on sale now for $66, a 27% discount from the $90 list price. Pretty good, but it sold for $50 on Black Friday 2020, so again we’d hold off. Stepping up to the GoWise USA 7-quart Air Fryer & Dehydrator, which lists for $120, the Epic Daily Deal price is $100, a 17% price break. Nope. We might jump for the last GoWise air fryer Epic Deal. Listing at $300, the 25-quart GoWise USA Air Fryer Oven & Professional Dehydrator is cut 15% in Amazon’s Epic Daily Deals to $255. We won’t scoff at that deal because this unit is not likely manufactured in great quantities. If you need an air fryer that large and you’re really into dehydrating with everything from dried fruit snacks to homemade jerky, you might want to snag one of these puppies early.
Looking beyond the Epic Daily Deals, we see more of the same air fryers that were included in last year’s Black Friday sales on sale now, usually not at their lowest prices from last year but their mid-level sales. For example, the Ninja AF101 4-quart Air Fryer is on sale for $100. We expect that price to drop to $80 on Black Friday.
Cuisinart’s Airfryer Convection Toaster Oven has had a price increase to $230 but it’s on sale right now for $199 with a coupon for another $9 off. We’ve seen other price increases this year and they’re not typos or selling tricks. Demand is still high for many products but manufacturing costs and shipping have risen. Some manufacturers have needed to raise prices to make any money at all.
Overall we expect this year’s air fryer Black Friday deals will be nearly identical to last year, though as stated above, supply chain problems and shipping delays will likely mean thinner inventories for sale. You also probably noticed that we mentioned many of the same models for both years — that’s due to the fact that manufacturers had to focus on manufacturing their existing model lines to meet worldwide demand. There was no need to develop new technologies or roll out new models with incremental improvements when manufacturers couldn’t keep up with the buying demands for their current products.
Should you buy an air fryer on Black Friday or Cyber Monday?
Black Friday air fryer deals prices likely won’t change from Black Friday to Cyber Monday. The discounts are usually the same, but stock doesn’t last with popular products so your best chance of getting the best price for almost anything this year is to shop with a list on Black Friday and when you see one of listed items, buy it immediately.
This isn’t to say that Cyber Monday deals will include only less popular models, but its clear from previous years’ Black Friday activities and this year’s inventory pressures that selections will be more limited the longer you wait. Popular product categories such as air fryer Black Friday deals could be the first to feel the crunch of shrinking inventories, so you’re doubly encouraged to act promptly on the best Black Friday air fryer deals.
