Best 3 indoor home security cameras of 2020
Of smart doorbells at outdoor cameras and models with facial recognition, there are a ton of home security camera options there. Interior security cameras watch when you’re not at home, take care of your valuables – or just watch a playful pet.
They range in price from 20 dollars to several hundred dollars and offer a variety of features and specifications. I have highlighted three of my favorite models below to guide you in your decision if you are looking for a new interior security camera.

Let’s start with the price: the Wyze Cam only costs $ 20. In a sea of expensive security cameras, the Wyze Cam offers exceptional value. Add to that its simple application, easy installation and solid performance – and you have an excellent indoor security camera.
What sets it apart even more is its free two-week cloud storage and its integrated microSD card slot for local storage. You must purchase a microSD card separately, but this is standard for most cameras with local storage. It supports Alexa and Google Assistant voice commands and has a motion detection area function.

One of the few Netatmo $ 200 smart indoor camera, previously called Netatmo Welcome indoor security cameras compatible with HomeKit Secure Video. HomeKit Secure Video is a service that works with the Home app only iOS. It offers 10 days of free event-based video history stored in iCloud.
Few security camera companies offer more free cloud storage (ahem, Arlo) – let alone offer 10 full days of free cloud storage. Wyze is an exception with its two weeks of free storage, which is one of the reasons why it’s my current favorite indoor camera.
Netatmo’s smart indoor camera has HD 1080p live streaming, 130 degree field of view, night vision and local storage with a microSD card included. It also has facial recognition capabilities when you are creating a database of friends and family members. In addition to working with HomeKit, the smart indoor camera also supports Alexa and Google Assistant voice commands.

At $ 299, the Nest Cam IQ Indoor is certainly expensive. But it also turns out that it has a ton of premium features with great appeal. First of all, it offers 1080p HD live streaming, free person alerts and a 4K image sensor. This 4K image sensor enables a feature called “Supersight” which zooms in on a person and follows them within the field of view of the camera.
If you pay for Nest Aware, which starts at $ 5 a month, you have access to the facial recognition feature. With facial recognition, you can create a friends and family database in the app, then receive personalized alerts when the camera recognizes “Dave” or “Molly”.
The Nest Cam IQ Indoor also has a built-in Google Assistant speaker for general or specific voice commands in the smart home.
