Automatic connected car service ends May 28

SiriusXM’s Connected Car Service Automatic enters the bucket at the end of May because it is unable to weather the weather COVID-19 Outbreak after an announcement Friday from the company.

What should you do if you really liked the automatic service and want to find a replacement? Good, Verizon offers its Hum unit, which offers a service similar to Automatic, and Zubie offers a dongle that mainly focuses on vehicle tracking. If you just want to use Automatic’s diagnostic features, things are easier because there are many Bluetooth OBD-II dongles available from websites like Amazon.
