ASUS gaming phones were previously only available in black, but that may change with the next model. Ishan Agarwal has a well-known leaker divided Pictures of what he says are the ROG Phone 5 in white color – significantly more noticeable than the usual hue.
It wouldn’t just be a simple pallet swap either. The new color of the ROG Phone 5 would feature a variety of blue accents, including the distinctive side button. The sides and the camera array would remain black, which gives this model a more “panda” look.

The internals of the ROG Phone 5 are not expected to change other than color. If previous rumors are true, you’re getting a fast Snapdragon 888 chip, 6.78-inch display, a hefty 6,000 mAh battery, and a possible 65W wired charge. The rear cameras would contain a 64MP main sensor along with likely ultra-wide and macro cameras.
ASUS officially launches the ROG Phone 5 on March 10th at 6 a.m. in the east. Whether or not this white color will be available in all markets is a different story. We wouldn’t be surprised if it was only shipped to a few countries or even as a limited edition device. So you may not want to assume that you have this model in your pocket.
