Apple AirPods 3 could adopt the Pro’s design, new case
- A new leak suggests that the Apple AirPods 3 may adopt some styles from the Pro version.

The standard Apple AirPods need to be updated, and a new image should shed light on possible design changes. Revealed by 52audio (over MacRumors) the pictures claim that the Apple AirPods 3 will adopt a more AirPods Pro design.
This reportedly includes a shorter stem and silicone ear plugs. In particular, these traits were originally reported by Bloomberg back in October 2020. See the leaked representations of the fall and buds below.
While they may take on the styling of their Pro siblings, the Apple AirPods 3 apparently don’t offer active noise cancellation. However, this might not be a terrible loss as the silicone tips should provide more isolation than the open design of the current AirPods 2.
Additional features include a pressure equalization system designed to negate earache, a touch-sensitive section on the stick for controls, and a redesigned charging case.
These leaked images and features have yet to be confirmed and it is important to be aware of this 52audio has had hits and misses before.
