Animal Crossing New Horizons: How to make bells using Nookazon

Animal crossing: new horizons has only been around for a month, but many players are already living the high life with fully furnished and delightfully decorated apartments. The game rewards you for taking it slow – grinding away day after day, looking for DIY recipes washed up on land, or floating through the sky in balloons. But let’s be honest: who has the time? Your house looks too bare. You want this bedroom suite now.

Fortunately there is Nookazon.

As the name suggests, Nookazon is Animal Crossing’s answer on Amazon. It’s a fan-made online destination for buying and selling almost everything in the game. From furniture to songs to villagers, Nookazon has it all.

Curious how it all works? I tried it and that’s how I did it.

Here is the homepage of Nookazon. Here you can search for elements or search the categories.

First you need to create an account with Nookazon. All transactions are currently processed via a Discord server. So if you already have a Discord account, you can log in and start trading immediately.

If you want to sell something

If you have something to sell, it’s time to make a list. I have a bed that I don’t want, so let’s see if I can get something good for it.

First, search for the item in the catalog. You can search the categories or simply use the search function to go straight to the item when you are busy.

The list of items contains useful information, e.g. B. How to buy the item in-game, how much it sells in Nooks Cranny and how much you can buy it from the children’s raccoons.

When you have found the article, click on Add Entry. From there you can add details, e.g. B. How many you sell and what you sell it for. You can ask people to make an offer and start a bidding war if you like a bit of chaos. Or you can simply ask for a set price or a desired item.

The item information shows the buy and sell price in the game. This is useful for setting your own price. If you set a price that is too high, you may not be lucky enough to sell it. Set the price too low and you tear yourself off. Of course, some rare items are in high demand and some users are ready to part with any number of bells in exchange. If you own a rare item, you can earn a pretty penny.

As soon as you have listed it, the offer is displayed under Sales in the information of the article and in your profile. If someone wants to make a trade, they will contact you directly in Discord. It doesn’t take long to find someone interested in buying – it took about ten minutes for someone to contact me and make an offer.

This is what your listing looks like when you sell something. From here, interested parties can contact you via Discord.

To complete the trade, all you have to do is create a dodo code and invite the buyer to your island.

Within ten minutes of my listing, I had sold it for a decent ten thousand bells.

If you want to buy something

Buying things on Nookazon is pretty easy. If you are a fan of window shopping, you can search the catalog. If you are looking for something specific, you can search for it.

I’m after a drum kit. I searched for “drum” and brought it up. On the list page you will find a long list of all users who sell their drum sets.

If you want to buy, look for sellers with a high star rating.

Take a close look at the actual item they are selling – some sell the DIY recipe, others sell the actual item in one color. Sometimes people offer to make the item for you if you can supply them with the materials.

The price is listed next to the article. Now it’s all about finding the right list with a price you can pay. Contact the seller on Discord and make an appointment for trading.

Vendors will likely give you a dodo code to get to their island where you can trade.
