This week we saw a pretty big leak in the Apple news related to the pricing of the upcoming iPhone 12 devices. If the leaker is correct, Apple’s iPhone pricing may not be much different from last year.

• Apple will launch the iPhone 12 series next week: Earlier this week, Apple officially announced the launch date of the iPhone 12. The company will unveil its newest iPhones on October 13th, next Tuesday. Find out more here.
• Alleged price leaks for the iPhone 12: A leaker announced that it could be the prices of the iPhone 12 series. You can read all about it here, but here’s the gist: the iPhone 12 Mini could cost $ 699, the iPhone 12 $ 799, the iPhone 12 Pro $ 999, and the iPhone 12 Pro Max $ 1,099 .
• IPhone 12 Mini Specifications Rumors: Now that we’re reasonably certain that the smallest iPhone 12 model will be known as the Mini, we can extrapolate some of its specs. Thanks to a rundown from Mac rumorsThe Mini is likely to have a 5.4-inch notch display, wide-angle and ultra-wide-angle dual-lens rearview cameras, ~ 2,300 mAh battery, and access to sub-6 GHz networks for 5G connections disposes. It will very likely have the A14 processor too, as will the rest of the iPhones to come.
• Unfortunately, not all iPhones end up together: Possibly due to the pandemic, it is becoming increasingly likely that only some of the iPhone 12 models will be available soon after the launch. According to the latest rumors, the iPhone 12 Mini and iPhone 12 Pro Max may not be available until November. That makes it terribly tight, Apple!
• HomePod updates are finally on the way, maybe: It looks like a HomePod Mini is in the works – and it could only cost $ 99. According to recent rumors, the HomePod Mini could debut alongside the new iPhones next week. The full-size HomePod 2 probably won’t land this year.
• Apple no longer sells competitor audio products: Earlier this week, Apple stopped selling audio products from Bose, Sonos, Logitech, and other brands. While the company hasn’t given any formal reasons for this change, it’s very likely that there are rumors of a new HomePod on the way, as well as AirPods studio headphones. It seems that Apple is done inviting other brands to play games in Apple Stores as there will be a robust selection of its own products.
• Tim Cook recalls the death of Steve Jobs: Last Monday marked the ninth anniversary of the death of Apple’s late co-founder Steve Jobs. Current CEO Tim Cook posted an inspirational quote from Maya Angelou and said a few nice words about his friend and colleague.
• Free Apple TV Plus Subscriptions Extended For Some: Apple may be giving out Christmas gifts a little earlier as some people who have received the one-year free trial of Apple TV Plus may extend that offer for an additional three months. This would push back the need to pay for it by 2021. Nice!
• Bruce Springsteen doc will be available exclusively on Apple TV Plus: A new documentary about musician Bruce Springsteen will air on Apple TV Plus on October 23rd. Letter To You explores Springsteen’s career and shows him recording in a studio with his E Street Band for the first time in 35 years.
