Amazfit PowerBuds Pro launched: Health-focused earbuds get better
TL; DR
- Huami launched the Amazfit PowerBuds Pro.
- The new earbuds keep the built-in heart rate sensor of the original model.
- It also provides cervical spine reminders if you’ve been in a fixed position for too long.
Huami launched the Amazfit PowerBuds last year, which combines true wireless earbuds with fitness features for a great buy at an introductory price of $ 99. What if you want a few more features? This is where the newly announced Amazfit PowerBuds Pro come into play.
Huami’s newest pair of TWS earphones retain the built-in heart rate sensor from the original model, so you can work out without a dedicated fitness tracker. But the new model also introduces some other health-related functions.
For starters, the PowerBuds Pro offers the possibility of recognizing the angle of your cervical spine while sitting. It then warns users if they have been in a fixed position for too long and reminds them to move their head and neck. The company also says the earbuds can now intelligently and automatically detect when you start running and track your data accordingly.

The Amazfit PowerBuds Pro can be pre-ordered from July 15 for 149.99 US dollars in the USA and 129.90 euros in Germany and Spain.
