Latest OnePlus Nord N10 and N100 updates

Update: July 26th 2021: OnePlus is finally rolling out the Android 11-based Oxygen OS 11 update for the OnePlus Nord N10. The update has the version numbers 11BE89BA, 11BE86AA and 11BE89BA in the EU, North America and Turkey. The full changelog for the update can be viewed below.

• Updated to OxygenOS 11 version
• Fresh new visual design of the user interface offers you a more comfortable experience with various detail optimizations
• Since this is a major Android update with several new features, the upgrade process may take a little longer. Please be patient.
• Updated Android security patch to 06/2021

camera

• The camera’s user interface has been updated and some of the function paths have been optimized to provide more convenient operation
• Newly added HEVC codec to seamlessly reduce video memory size, capture and record more without compromising quality
• Newly added access to a third party app to share the picture by pressing and holding in the preview
• Newly added quick access to the shooting mode by pressing and holding the shutter button and sliding the button, you can easily zoom in or out
• The playback indicator in time-lapse mode has been added to show the actual movie time

Environment display

• Newly added Insight watch style, a joint creation with the Parsons School of Design. It changes according to the usage data of the phone (for setting: Settings> Personalization> Clock on Ambient Display)
• Newly added canvas function that can automatically draw a wireframe image based on a lock screen photo on your phone (path: Select Settings> Personalization> Wallpaper> Canvas> Photo Preview and it can be generated automatically）

Games

• Newly added gaming tools box for conveniently switching the pro gaming mode. You can now choose from three types of notifications: Text Only, Heads Up and Blocking for your immersive gaming experience only
• Newly added quick reply feature in a small window for WhatsApp and INS (enable it by swiping down from the top right / left corner of the screen in game mode)
• Newly added function to prevent incorrect contact. Enable it, swipe down from the top of the screen, click and the notification bar will appear

Dark mode

• A shortcut for dark mode has been added. You can pull down the quick settings panel and find it
• Supported automatic activation according to time range (Path: Settings – Display – Dark mode – Switch on automatically – Automatic activation from sunset to sunrise / user-defined time range)

Previous OnePlus Nord N10 and N100 updates

May 24, 2021: OnePlus has started rolling out OxygenOS 10.5.14 for the Nord N10. The release included the Android security patches for May 2021, fixes for known issues, system stability improvements, and connectivity optimizations. A similar update has been introduced for the OnePlus Nord N100. The update (OxygenOS 10.5.10 in EU and OxygenOS 10.5.8 in NA) contained the latest security patches, bug fixes and improvements.

04/14/2021: OnePlus Nord N10 and N100 have received a new Oxygen OS update with some network and system improvements. The update was bundled with the Android security patch released in March 2021. Other changes in the update included improved power consumption, improved system stability, improved performance and stability in Wi-Fi transmission, and improved stability of communication and the 5G network.

March 29, 2021: The Nord N100 has got a new software version. Numbered as Oxygen OS 10.5.8 in the EU and 10.5.6 in North America, the update brought further improvements in system power consumption and the Android security patch from February 2021.

February 20, 2021: OnePlus has provided extensive updates for both the OnePlus Nord N10 and the Nord N100. The former received Oxygen OS 10.5.10 in the EU and 10.5.11 in other markets. The update brought the Android security patch from February 2021 and some system optimizations. The Nord N100 won Oxygen OS 10.5.7 in the EU and 10.5.5 in North America. It brought improvements in power consumption, the January 2021 Android security patch, and improvements in system stability.

JJanuary 10, 2021: OnePlus Nord N10 received Oxygen OS 10.5.9. It was a minor update that focused on improvements in system performance and network stability.

December 22, 2020: OnePlus has updated the Nord N10 with Oxygen OS 10.5.8. The update fixes system problems, camera performance, and network stability. It also included the December Android security patch. OnePlus rolled out software version 10.5.5 in Europe and 10.5.4 in North America on OnePlus Nord N100 devices. The update brought the December 2020 Android security patch, power consumption improvements, a new quick settings button, bug fixes, and much more.

November 10, 2020: OnePlus has distributed the first update for the OnePlus Nord N10 5G for users in Europe. Oxygen OS 10.5.5 brought the device improved power consumption, improved camera performance, and the November Android security patch.

November 3, 2020: OnePlus introduced Oxygen OS 10.5.1 on November 3rd on the Nord N100. The update mainly focused on optimizing system functions and certain apps. Optimizations have been made to Wi-Fi transmissions, Bluetooth and the camera app. The “touch and interaction experience” of the Nord N100 has also been improved with this update.
