Google opened the online Google Store back in 2015. Over the years it has also opened physical pop-up stores around the world, usually at the same time as a major new hardware release. However, one thing Google has never had is permanent physical retail space.
That will all change tomorrow. On June 17, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. ET, Google will officially open the Google Store NYC, a new permanent home. The store is located in the historic Chelsea Market building in Manhattan and will sell all kinds of Google products. It will also exist as a showcase for these products to provide a hands-on experience for customers.

As expected, the store is based on the aesthetics of the Apple Stores, of which there are already over 500 scattered around the world. However, Google adds its own twist to things by offering simulated locations that give you a feel for how their products could improve your daily life.
In addition, the Google Store in NYC has plenty of Google employees on hand to help you with products that you want to buy or already have.
