After its first global appearance at CES 2021, Honor has finally announced the general availability of Honor Band 6.
Although it is billed as a fitness tracker, the Band 6 has a large display that can keep up with many smartwatches. It measures 1.47 inches in diameter with a resolution of 368 x 194. Honor claims that this means an almost 150% enlargement of the display compared to its predecessor. The screen is also provided with an anti-fingerprint coating.

The Health 6 has a pulse oximeter, a continuous heart rate tracker that also monitors heart rate variability, and sleep tracking. In addition, 10 training modes are tracked, six of which are automatically recognized by the tape. It’s waterproof up to 50 meters, so swimming is a fair game too.
Honor notes that the Band 6’s 180 mAh battery can last up to 10 days on a single charge in “heavy use” situations. A 10 minute charge also gives the user three days of battery life.
Finally, there are some basic smartwatch tricks as well, including controlling music on Android phones, mirroring smartphone notifications, and my phone’s functionality.
Volume 6 will be available on AliExpress from March 28th for € 49.90. The tracker is also coming to Honor’s own store next month. Colors 6 are available in Meteorite Black, Sandstone Gray or Coral Pink.
