A better look at Apple’s iPhone 12 Pro Max and iPhone Mini – ProWellTech

The various iterations of the new iPhone were announced 800 million years ago. Wait, I just checked one more time – it was only about two weeks ago, but it turns out time doesn’t matter anymore. Another cursory glance at my calendar tells me that while the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro were released in late October, not long after the announcement, the iPhone 12 Pro Max and iPhone Mini won’t go on sale for another week or so.

Read Matthew’s in-depth review of these mid-range devices here. And while we wait for the bottom and top of the line to arrive, I spent a little time with the equipment and took a few photos with the products, which you can see below.

Again, we can probably talk more about the subject at some point in the future, but for now a few thoughts and pictures. Think of this as some kind of makeup for the kind of hands-on exercises with products we used to work on Apples personal events, earlier than Apple had personal events.

All four sizes were available and were taken into account. As someone who has tested a slew of large Android devices over the past few months, the 6.7-inch Pro Max doesn’t seem that big. However, as you can see in this photo above, the difference between it and the Mini is quite pronounced.

It is amazing how quickly our perception of screen sizes has changed over the years that a handset with a screen two inches larger than the original iPhone is now classified as a “mini” by a considerable margin. Even the 6-inch Pixel 5 I’ve used now and then feels pretty small by today’s standards.

The 6.1-inch display on the standard iPhone 12 and 12 Pro seems like a pretty good sweet spot for many or most users. Many of the key specs are surprisingly consistent, given the $ 400 price difference between high and low end. All have 5G connectivity, the new MagSafe magnetic connector, OLED displays and an A14 chip.

In addition to size, storage space and battery capacity, the cameras are the big differentiators. No big surprise, as this is where most smartphone manufacturers continue to make their greatest strides. Here is a table we created to break down these distinctions:
