8 phones still coming out in 2020: iPhone 12, Galaxy Fold 2, Note 20 and more
Despite the Coronavirus pandemicTelephone companies are still planning to launch new phones. While many of us are on a budget, companies like Apple and Samsung are still building phones and hope you buy them.
We’ll see how well that works. Telephone sales have so far declined by 20% this year until the end of March.
Samsung Galaxy Fold 2
Samsung is a company that believes that leaflets are the future of mobile devices. It worked on foldable displays for years before launching its Galaxy Fold in February 2019. The Samsung device, which extends from a phone to a tablet, caught the world’s attention, but quickly encountered problems.
The company delayed the start of the $ 1,980 fold five months from April to September after some reporters found screen errors in their review units. This year, the second round of what we currently call the Galaxy Fold 2 is expected to start, building on the lessons learned from last year’s catastrophe and the Galaxy Z Flip in February. Samsung is expected to reveal that Galaxy Fold 2 on August 5th at a virtual unpacked event.
Notable updates to the fold could include a glass display instead of plastic and a larger internal screen. Some rumors even suggest it comes with an S pen, others say Samsung will introduce a cheaper Fold E or Fold Lite alongside the more expensive Fold 2.

Samsung Galaxy Note 20
The fate of Samsung’s annual flagship phone with pen for power users is in the air. We would normally expect the new note to arrive in August, with blazing weapons, too much fanfare and a lively launch event. Who knows this year? An early rumor indicated that the Note 20 – according to Samsung’s new naming convention for the Galaxy S20 phones – would appear in July.
This seems completely unlikely as the world squats to survive this coronavirus pandemic. Samsung may be hosting an online event like rivals instead of the usual stadium or music hall. The company did not respond to a request for comment on the subject.
What is The Note 20 will likely expand on the main features of the Galaxy S20, from 5G data speeds and a fast refresh rate of 120 Hz to these high-resolution cameras – whenever and however it is revealed at some point.
Estimated release date: August 2020
Samsung Galaxy A series
Samsung goes all budget phones with its new all-in Galaxy A series align. And when we say “budget” we mean cheap in some cases. We still have to actually use it these phonesHopefully that’s cheap in the best possible way.
The 4G LTE series, which includes four phones, consists of the $ 110 Galaxy A10, the $ 180 Galaxy A11, the $ 250 Galaxy A21, and the $ 400 Galaxy A21 Galaxy A51, this is the continuation of 2019 Galaxy A50. Then we have the two 5G phones: the 5G version of the Galaxy A51 costs $ 500 while the new Galaxy A71 5G costs $ 600.
Again, these are some really aggressive prices from Samsung, and in the coming months we will know if they are worth the lowest prices themselves.
